Summer Lesson Program
What is the SLP?The IASD Summer Lesson Program is available to any students entering 4th through 12th grade in the 2016-2017 school year. We offer individual, group, and small ensemble lessons to students playing woodwind, brass, string, and percussion instruments. Piano, drumset, and guitar lesson are also available but are restricted to students participating in IASD jazz ensembles.
The SLP is a great way to keep your practice habits going once the school year ends. It's also helps beginning students get a jump start into the instrumental program. |
When and where are the lessons? |
This year, lessons will be available on the following dates: June 3, June 9, June 15, June 21, and June 27. When you register, you will select time slots that you are available on the lesson dates. You will then be assigned a lesson time.
Lessons will be held in the instrumental music rooms of the Indiana Junior High School. |
What do the lessons cost? |
Tuition is charged per student or per family. Students who qualify for free or reduced lunch qualify for a reduced tuition. The tuition schedule is as follows:
Regular Tuition Reduced Tuition 1 student = $50.00 1 student = $25.00 2 or more in a family = $80.00 2 or more in a family = $40.00 If a student is interested in taking additional lessons on other instruments, the fee for a single student will be added to the total at either the regular or reduced rate. |
